The 2011 Segambut Charity Park Run was successfully held yesterday at Desa Park City. We would like to express our greatest gratitude to our participants, volunteers, sponsors, supporters, reporters and our guests of honour.
This is in fact, just the beginning, we will continue to work hard to achieve our RM2Million target for the Segambut Welfare Home Building Fund.
Where can I view the photos taken? Why the run was shorter than 5.5KM? Why there isnt any time clocked for the 1st 200 finishers?
ReplyDeleteHi
ReplyDeleteThanks for organizing the run. I had a lot of fun, even though some areas were lacking. Looking forward to an even better run next year.
My feedback:
Positive
1. Well-staffed with volunteers
2. Interesting range of refreshments and enough for everyone
3. Adequate RELA personnel
4. Medic volunteers on duty
5. Medals for finishers
6. Supporters and photographers gave out good vibes
Negative
1. Under-distance - we were pacing ourselves for 5.5k but it was only 3.3k
Do let us know where we can view the photos?
Thank you
Yin
Enjoyed myself, thanks. Why was the courses shortened? How about organising a Charity WALK next? It will be less taxing on people who are over 65 years old, like me?

I took part in your charity run. It was a good course of work but I was disappointed of your under-declared run distance. The actual distance is only 3.6km as compared to your official 5.5km, a short of almost 2km. Being a charity organisation, there is a high expectation of your transparency and integrity by the general public in your course of charity works. Sadly to say, your blunder has caused my negative impression on the good name of your organisation.
ReplyDeleteWe would like to thank all for the comments posted. Our apology for the shorten distance, we will advocate this issue to the management of Desa Park City. All photos and account will be posted as soon.
