Rules and Regulations

 
PARTICIPANT'S RESPONSIBILITIES

1.     Every runner is responsible for his/her involvement in the run and is the sole judge of whether he/she should begin or continue competing in the run. However, the Organising Committee reserves the absolute right and discretion to ban a runner from starting or continuing the race, if in the Organising Committee’s opinion that the runner is likely to cause him/her self injury either by starting or continuing the race. The Organising Committee’s decision will be final.
2.     If runners feel unwell during the race, they must stop and ask for medical attention from the support crews along the race route.
3.     Runners are required to wear their race numbers on the front and back of their running T-Shirt throughout the entire running course.

ORGANISER'S RESPONSIBILITIES
1.     The Organising Committee will provide First-Aid services during the race. There will be First-Aid stations along the race route. There will also be mobile support crews along the route to provide First-Aid assistance.
2.     At least two water re-hydration points shall be available along the race route course.
3.     Race officials at all Checkpoints will have communication accessibility to the Organising Committee.

RACE RULES
1.     The family team members must stay together on the racecourse at all times and cross the finish line together.
2.     Any team or individual that reports after the stipulated time will not be allowed to participate in the race.
3.     Number Tag must be worn on the outside of clothing at all times.
4.     Family Teams or individuals electing not to participate in any section of the running course must report to a race official to state their intention and receive instructions for an alternative route around the area.
5.     The Organising Committee reserves the right to change the rules or the course at any given time. ANY FAILURE BY A COMPETITOR TO ADHERE TO THE ABOVE-MENTIONED RULES AND REGULATIONS CAN RESULT IN AUTOMATIC DISQUALIFICATION OF THE ENTIRE RUNNING TEAM.
6.     The Organising Committee reserves the right to use, promote and publish participants' photos and particulars in the press and any other media where applicable for publicity and advertising purposes.

RACE TIMING
1.     The Organising Committee shall activate the official time clock when the race is flagged down and stop it after the race cut-off time.
2.     The Family team must start the race and finish the race together. Prior to entering the finishing lanes, all of the team members must be together. The team’s timing shall be deemed to stop when both team members cross the finish line.

CHECKPOINTS

1.     To complete the entire race, teams and individual runners must pass through all Checkpoints.
2.     Should any team/individual runners miss a Checkpoint, they must backtrack to the missed Checkpoint to get the token/slip.

TEAM WITHDRAWAL and DISQUALIFICATION

1.     The Family Team cannot continue and will be automatically disqualified should one member drop out of the race. However, the remaining team members may continue the race unranked if they wish to do so on a non-competitive basis.
2.     A runner may be disqualified for consumption of alcohol, stimulants or any kind of other drugs 24 hours before the race.
3.     If a participants is deemed to be physically incapable of continuing the race without subjecting himself/herself to severe physical harm (i.e weight loss of 10% and etc.), the Organising Committee has the right to remove him/her from the race. The committee’s decision is final in determining removal/disqualification of participants.
4.     Complaints of being fouled by other competitors or notices of violation by a competitor must be filled in writing with the organising committee within 30 minutes upon completion of the event.
5.     The Organising Committee reserves the right to amend the rules and regulations without prior notification.
