Press Conference for Charity Park Run

Segambut Welfare Association will be having a Press Conference to announce the "Charity Park Run" 2011 @ Desa Parkcity on the 6th of April, 10.00am.

About Segambut Welfare Home

In 2009, The Segambut Welfare Association was given the approval by Government, the right of use to a 17,427 sf land located in the vicinity of Desa Park City to build a doulbe story Welfare Home. The entire cost for building and initial setup is estimated to be RM2million. This benevolent project is aimed to give the poor, the orphaned and the aged an opportunity to have a place called home, while being loved and cared for as a family.

The centre will be made up of two main portions at the ground floor, one assigned for the men and young boys and another for the women and young girls. The first floor takes on as the activity hub for games and recreation and as the assembly hall or community centre.

Besides, there will also be plan to offer modern and traditional medical services and also weekly free dental treatments for the Welfare residents sponsored by the volunteers.
